Speaking to Red Bull’s podcast, Verstappen hints of his excitement to the future but believes in, he said, “for me, it is about being part of a team”. “I would like to win, yeah, but it’s not about the targets of winning five in a row or how many in total,” Verstappen said. “I am excited about what we’re bringing to the table next year.”
The Dutchman believes the new techniques would keep the team competitive in 2025: “I hope it is fast enough. When that is the case, I know I can deliver the results. But it is all about a car that allows for us to stay at the top.”
Challenges Ahead
Although he had an imperious start to last season, Verstappen has said he is looking towards greater competition, especially in the Constructors’ Championship. He anticipates a tougher fight in 2025, possibly a repeat of the one he had in 2021:
