What Makes Older Cars Stand Out?
We all love the classic cars, due to nostalgia and when we look at them, we stop and think, they are built like a tank.

But in reality, that doesnโ€™t help at all when it comes to crash, many older models lack essential safety features like airbags, which is very important, crumple zones, or advanced seatbelt designs which new cars have, which are standard in modern vehicles.

They were very strong but their speed wasnโ€™t at the top level, old cars did not had the overall performance to try and keep it on road, like the new ones, and thatโ€™s important role.

The Modern Car Advantage
Fast-forward to today, and cars are more than just transportationโ€”theyโ€™re technological marvels designed to save lives in the worst-case scenarios. Modern vehicles undergo rigorous safety testing and are equipped with features like:

  • Crumple Zones: These are designed to absorb the impact energy of a crash, protecting passengers by redirecting force away from the cabin.
  • Multiple Airbags: Front, side, curtain, and even knee airbags are now common, significantly reducing injuries in a collision.
  • Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS): Features like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warnings, and collision avoidance systems work to prevent accidents before they happen.

But does all this technology truly make modern cars safer in real-life crashes, especially when compared to the tough exteriors of old cars?
