Mick Schumacher to drive for Sauber in 2025?

Son of the Formula 1 legend Mick Schumacher hopes he will drive for Sauber F1 team in 2025.

He said there are chances and he could get a seat for 2025.

He told to Sky Sport: “I will deal with it.” he continued that Sauber is plan B: “Plan B must be in the back in your mind if Plan A doesn’t work.”

Mick Schumacher was Haas F1 team driver, but it didn’t took long.

He expects Sauber to let Valtteri Bottas go, but Sauber also is an option for the team and we have to wait and see.

“Sorting things out for the future, that’s obviously high on my priority list because it’s starting to feel almost like Christmas time, you know it’s getting close so better get it sorted,” said Bottas in Singapore.

Valtteri Bottas, 35, seeks a multi-year deal with Sauber, while Franco Colapinto is also in contention. Mick Schumacher is an intriguing option as Sauber transitions to Audi in 2026, having already signed Nico Hulkenberg.

Since being dropped by Haas in 2022, Schumacher has worked as Mercedes’ third driver and raced in Alpine’s endurance program. Though he missed out on an F1 seat this year, his youth and determination make him a strong candidate for Sauber’s future.
