Oliver Bearman is confident that his recent F1 debut with Ferrari will benefit him as he prepares for his anticipated call-up by Haas for next weekend’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Bearman said: “Stepping in as a reserve driver is definitely more challenging, especially with limited preparation time. However, having raced with Scuderia Ferrari earlier this year gives me valuable experience to draw on.
“I’ve also completed four FP1 sessions with Haas in the VF-24 this season, which will be beneficial as I tackle the full race weekend in Baku.
“The team is performing well right now, and I’ll do my best to make the most of the time we have. My goal is to have a strong weekend in Azerbaijan.”
