So, you want to work for Scuderia Ferrari? Yeah, that’s everyone’s dream at some point. But today we’ll try to guide you with simple steps that we found helpful, and just try to make it easier for anyone out there who’s thinking the same.
Whether you’re into engineering, data stuff, marketing, or just love racing too much,it’s possible. Not easy, but not impossible.
How can you find Ferrari jobs? Real jobs…
Ferrari isn’t just about Formula 1 cars. They do a lot more—designing, building, testing, marketing. So you’ve got more options than just being in the pit lane.
1. Ferrari Careers Website
Go to ferrari.com/career (you can apply directly, just submit your application). This is where you can find all official job posts. You can also send them your CV even if there’s no open role that fits you right now.
2. LinkedIn
Ferrari posts jobs there too. Just search “Ferrari” on LinkedIn (Like actual jobs right now), and check the jobs tab, you will see real positions with deadlines. Follow them to stay updated, check every day,
3. Formula Careers Website
Go to formulacareers.com. They list jobs from all F1 teams, including Ferrari. It’s a helpful place if you want to look around and see what’s out there, you can follow them on Instagram profile also.
What Do They Even Look For?
Ferrari is not your usual company. They want people who are serious, skilled, and crazy about cars and racing.
- Education: If you want to be an engineer, you’ll probably need a degree in something like mechanical or automotive engineering. If it’s marketing, business school or similar, if you are one, then go for it!
- Experience: If you’ve done racing stuff before (even simulations or school competitions), that’s a big plus. Also internships at auto companies help a lot, it makes things easier for you to get the position.
- Language: English is needed for sure. But if you speak a little Italian,or even try to learn, they’ll like that. Most jobs are in Italy,
- Soft skills: They want people who work well in teams, solve problems, and don’t freeze under pressure, Ferrari wants leader, someone who takes responsibilities. Being good at communication helps too.
- Passion: If you love racing, don’t hide it. That’s something they care about, let it show in your story
Where They Actually Work
1. Maranello, Italy
This is the main base. All the F1 and most of the high-level jobs are here.
- Fiorano Circuit: Their private test track.
- Cittadella Ferrari: A big complex where they do R&D, production, etc.
2. Worldwide Roles
Ferrari also has jobs in other countries, mostly sales or dealership related. Could be a good place to start if you’re not ready to move to Italy yet.
How to Get Ready (Before You Apply)
1. Make a Strong CV
Write it in a way that fits Ferrari’s style. Show your car-related experience, your skills, even if it’s student stuff. Mention languages, teamwork, anything that shows you’re ready.
2. Don’t Apply to Everything
Choose carefully. If you’re not qualified for a role, wait and prepare. They don’t like random applications.
3. Try to Learn Italian
Even basic Italian is better than nothing. Especially for internships—it makes life easier in Maranello.
4. Practice for Their Tests
Some roles need you to pass interviews and team assessments. You may have to do group tasks, presentations, or technical questions. Be ready.
5. Network
Look for people who worked at Ferrari or did internships. Message them politely. Ask simple questions. Join groups or forums. Show up and learn.
Realistic ways to join Ferrari?
- University Internships: Usually 6 months in Maranello. Engineering roles mostly. Applications open near summer.
- Graduate Programs: Hard to get in, but they exist. You rotate between departments.
- Spontaneous Application: If you have rare skills, you can just send your CV and try.
- Dealership Jobs: Good first step. If you love the brand and want to start anywhere, dealerships could help you later move to HQ roles.
So what we can say more?
Getting into Ferrari isn’t like applying to a regular job, they really demand, and expect your best. They’re strict, competitive, and they expect a lot. But that’s Ferrari. That’s why we all admire them.
Still, with some passion, some preparation, and maybe a little luck—you could be there. Working on the cars you grew up loving.
So start with what you have. Build up from there. Even if it feels far right now, you’re already ahead just by trying.
Good luck—and maybe I’ll see you in Maranello one day!
